Hi, I’m Rodneycia Williams, owner and lead planner and designer at Red Magnolia Weddings & Events. When I’m not helping bring wedding dreams to life, I’m at home with my three boys and my husband, Nick—my college sweetheart. Our life is full of noise, laughter, and a little chaos, and I love the family we’re building together.

To be honest, I never imagined Red Magnolia would be part of my story. But this business has allowed me to do work I love, help provide for my family, and build relationships with people I might never have met otherwise. Even after all the planning, phone calls, and timeline revisions, I still get so much joy from seeing a wedding day come together.

Somewhere between our first conversation and that final walkthrough, we get to know each other. We laugh, talk through decisions, and build trust. By your wedding day, you know you have someone in your corner who understands what matters to you.

I’m there to carry your dress, help touch up your makeup, straighten a boutonniere, and make sure you’ve had something to eat. I’m also keeping the day moving, making sure your vendors know where to be, and handling the little things before they become yours to worry about.

I care about the details because I care about the people they’re for. I want you to feel beautiful, supported, and comfortable enough to let go and enjoy the day we’ve worked so hard to bring to life.

A few things about me…

My favorite drink: Creamy coffee. A little coffee with my cream, if we’re being honest.

My song: “Before I Let Go” by Frankie Beverly and Maze. Beyoncé’s version sounds great, too, but the original has my heart.

What I’m listening to: Usually a podcast or an audiobook while I’m doing something else.

My kind of fun: Thrifting, DIY projects, and finding a piece of furniture I’m convinced I can bring back to life.

A confession: I love starting big projects at home. Finishing all of them? That’s another story.

My favorite season: The holidays—all of them. I’m absolutely decorating early, and I won’t apologize for it.
